06/08/25, London, UK: The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has appointed Elkhan Nasibov, Group Managing Director of Guavapay, as the Committee Chair of their Skills Committee.
The Skills Committee connects industry, education, and training to ensure London businesses are equipped with the skills and innovative capabilities they need to thrive in a competitive global environment.
Speaking on his appointment, Elkhan Nasibov - Group Managing Director said, “I am honoured to chair this committee and look forward to working with my fellow committee members to foster collaboration, drive innovation and encourage entrepreneurial ambition among London businesses.”

About Elkhan Nasibov
Elkhan Nasibov is the Group Managing Director at Guavapay. He began his banking career at the age of 19, working for one of Europe’s largest banks. Over the years, he has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience across various aspects of banking, including business development, product development, operations, and regulatory compliance. Formerly the Chief Compliance Officer and MLRO, Elkhan has played a pivotal role in building Guavapay’s foundation from the ground up. His leadership has been instrumental in the company’s growth, transforming it from a team of just 5 employees into a global organization with more than 650 experts and professionals in IT, finance, and banking.
Elkhan is a member of The Payments Leaders Group at The Payments Association and has served as a judge on the Pay360 Awards panel for three consecutive years (2023 – 2025). He has been recognised as 'highly commended' Compliance Leader of the Year 2025 by the International Compliance Association (ICA). Additionally, Elkhan is the recipient of the prestigious Freedom of the City of London and is an invited guest speaker at various international corporate and diplomatic forums.
